Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols is the only studio album by the English punk rock band Sex Pistols.It was released on 28 October 1977 by Virgin Records. The album was produced by Chris Thomas and engineered by Bill Price. The album reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and was ranked number 58 on Rolling Stone magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The British Phonographic Industry awarded it a platinum record for a print run in excess of 300,000 copies. The album was originally to be called God Save the Queen, but the band was threatened with prosecution by the Crown for blasphemy, so they changed the title. The album cover features a mutilated likeness of Queen Elizabeth II. The first single from the album, "Anarchy in the UK", was released on 26 November 1976. The album's second single, "God Save the Queen", was released on 27 May 1977. The album's third and final single, "Pretty Vacant", was released on 15 July 1977.
