Norah Jones: Begin Again La version sur Le vinyle LP en Norme édition. Cette édition particulière a été publiée en L'Europe dans la maison d'édition Blue Note Le 4 avril 2025.
Popular singer-songwriter and pianist Norah Jones is releasing Begin Again on April 12 this year, an album consisting of seven songs Jones recorded over the past year with the help of Jeff Tweedy and Thomas Bartlett. The album will be available on vinyl, CD and digitally. The album's lead single is "Just a Little Bit," on which Jones is accompanied by organ, drums, bass, trumpet and tenor saxophone in addition to piano.Last year, following the release of Day Breaks (2016) and the subsequent tour, Jones returned to the studio under the tutelage of her muses to create an album that would not aspire to meet anyone's expectations or fit into pre-ordained boxes. After delving into the joy, openness and spontaneity of the music she created, Jones teamed up with her friends for experimental improvised music sessions. "I felt strongly inspired, I wanted to try different things. I wanted to do it fast, fun, simple and without any pressure. Everything was created in the present moment, the songs were created from nothing and each one went in a different direction. Three days in the studio was all it took to make the album," says Jones of the recording process. The final album thus flirts with electronic experiments, acoustic folk ballads and deep organ-accompanied tracks. Begin Again captures seven moments of creativity.Singer-songwriter and pianist Norah Jones first appeared on the world stage in 2002 with Come Away With Me, which introduced her voice, which would go on to become a global phenomenon. Norah Jones then went on to win Grammy after Grammy, her songs were featured in films and her concerts sold out quickly. Since the beginning of her career, Norah has sold over 50 million records, won the Grammy nine times, been praised to the skies by critics and been one of the most successful singers of her time - whether it was as a solo artist or with The Little Willies or Puss N Boots. Her music combines the basic styles of American musical culture: country, folk, rock, soul and jazz. Norah has worked with Willie Nelson, Outkast, Herbie Hancock, Foo Fighters and Danger Mouse, to name a few, and has been described by The Independent as "pop's mistress of alchemy".
