The eleventh studio album from American thrash metal legends Megadeth, "United Abominations" was first released on May 8, 2007 and immediately entered the Billboard top ten chart, reaching #8, the highest ranking since "Youthanasia" in '94. The album was also voted the first metal album of the year by several publications and received critical and fan acclaim. It is considered one of the best in the band's history!
