The Elements Tour Box was originally conceived as a one-off release for the 2014 King Crimson Tour. Due to high demand, the series has become a major release, with great acclaim in 2015, '16 and '17. As with previous releases in the series, the 2-CD set showcases the full range of King Crimson with rehearsal excerpts, new live recordings, studio elements, complete tracks, alternate takes and finished recordings from 1969-2017. Many of the recordings are available on CD for the first time. All King Crimson line-ups are represented on both CDs. The enclosed booklet includes lyrics by Sid Smith, who helped compile this compilation, historical photographs, information about the current tour and several photographs of the current band and musicians.
