With the release of "Meltdown: King Crimson, Live in Mexico," the British progressive rock legends will unveil another concert record in October. It was only in March that they released the album "Live In Vienna, December 1, 2016". Like its predecessor, "Meltdown: King Crimson, Live in Mexico" contains three CDs. This time, the set is accompanied by a Blu-ray. The CD contains a total of about three and a half hours of live footage from five concerts at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City in July 2017. The Blu-ray also contains two hours of video footage with high-definition audio and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Highlights of "Meltdown: King Crimson, Live in Mexico" include recordings of "Breathless," "Discipline," "Moonchild" and "Tony," which were first performed by this lineup (Mel Collins, Robert Fripp, Gavin Harrison, Jakko Jakszyk, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Bill Rieflin and Jeremy Stacey).
