For the first time, an album covering his entire career from 1955 to 2003 is now available: 'Ring of Fire - The Legend Of Johnny Cash'. 21 recordings originally released on Sun, Columbia, Island and American Recordings, "Ring of Fire - The Legend Of Johnny Cash" is the first compilation to include more recent tracks from his time with Rick Rubin and American Recordings, for which he won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album and a Grammy for Best Music Video ("Hurt"), among others. Best Of from the American Recordings period includes a cover version of U2's hit "One", Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" and Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt", which he gave a whole new sound. Cash's songs from his time at Sun Records include his first single "Hey, Porter" / "Cry! Cry! Cry!", "Guess things happen that way" and the classic "I walk the line". In addition, this one-of-a-kind compilation features the hits "Ring of Fire", "A Boy Named Sue", "A Thing Called Love" and "The Wanderer", a duet with U2.The album is accompanied by a 16-page booklet with exclusive photos and an essay by renowned author Rich Kienzle. Today, 50 years after his musical debut, Johnny Cash has become an immortal legend in the American music world.
