Jean-Michel Jarre presents the second part of his series "Electronica 2: The Heart of Noise" in 2016. The "Godfather of Electronic Music" released the first volume "The Time Machine" about half a year earlier. On it, the musician took a journey through the history of electronic music with various notable guests. Now he continues this journey with the book "The Heart of Noise". This time too, he has managed to get the support of many well-known musicians from different genres and decades, as well as newcomers. These include legendary electropop duo Pet Shop Boys, pop icon Cyndi Lauper, British indie rockers Primal Scream, German film composer Hans Zimmer, techno DJ Jeff Mills, French producer Rone and many more. The collaboration produced 17 tracks for Jarres' new album. The full track list can be found below. The "Electronica" project lasted four years and Jean-Michel Jarre brought a total of 30 guest musicians into the studio. 15 of them for the first part, the other 15 for "Electronica 2: The Heart of Noise". Jean-Michel Jarre has created an epochal collection of electronic music on "Electronica 1 + 2". For those who enjoyed the first volume, "Electronica 2: The Heart of Noise" is the sought-after sequel.
