Il Volo's concert with star guest and conductor Plácido Domingo on 1 July 2016 was a huge success and thrilled more than 6,000 spectators in the magical setting of Florence's Piazza Santa Croce. This concert is now being released on CD under the title "Notte Magica" and will be followed by a concert DVD in December. Plácido Domingo not only conducted the orchestra of the famous Teatro Massimo di Palermo that evening, but also joined in singing Il Volo on the song "Non ti scordar di me". Marcello Rota took turns on stage with Domingo. The singers of Il Volo - Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble - presented a perfectly balanced program of popular Neapolitan, Italian and international songs, from musical evergreens to famous operatic arias. With songs such as "Torna a surriento", "Core 'ngrato", "E lucevan le stelle", "Una furtiva lagrima", "Granada", "Tonight" and many more. The concert is also released as a limited deluxe album with highlights from the concert on a bonus DVD.
