They've already revealed what it's going to sound like in advance in the first single "Anymore": dark electronic soundscapes meet sultry pop melodies and Alison's soft-breathing vocals. Goldfrapp recorded a total of ten new songs for the record in Dallas and London. There they were supported by several well-known producers and musicians such as John Congleton (St. Vincent, John Grant, Wild Beasts, etc.), Bobby Krlic aka The Haxan Cloak and Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno). The mixing of "Silver Eye" was done by David Wrench (The xx, FKA Twigs, Caribou) and Daniel Miller. In addition to the standard CD and black LP, "Silver Eye" is also available as clear vinyl for collectors and aficionados. A return to the roots, a return to absolute top: Goldfrapp shines with dark electropop on their new album "Silver Eye". This is where their strengths lie.
