earMUSIC and Deep Purple are proud to announce the release of a limited series of very rare live recordings from the band's archive. Each release will include 20,000 numbered, high-quality CDs and only 2,000 LPs worldwide. The series will focus on three decades of Deep Purple's tours around the world, beginning with an explosive show in Newcastle, Australia in 2001, some of which have been previously released in very rare fan editions and others that will be available for the first time. All of these recordings have been remastered in 2019 to ensure optimal sound quality. Roger Glover comments on the first chapter of this series, "After touring Australia in the early 1970s, we returned in 1999 with Steve Morse on guitar. Australia welcomed us with open arms in 2001. That's why we came up with something very special for this evening: we invited several singers and breathers. It was a very special and unique concert."
