After the elaborate catalogue of Kreator, Running Wild, Grave Digger and Tankard, Noise Records is now releasing the late work of Swiss thrash metal legend Coroner, among others. Coroner's fifth and final album for Noise was "Grin", first released in 1993. This record showed the band moving forward further in terms of sonic sophistication, combining a groovier sound with industrial elements popular in the mid-nineties. The songs were longer, more complex and the most experimental the band had ever written. "Grin" is a technical marvel that was risky and ahead of its time in 1993, and is now considered an almost "posthumous" innovative genre classic.
