After 100 releases of Fabric & Fabric Live, it's time to relaunch the world-famous London club, its label and its mix series. The new era is heralded by none other than top UK producer Bonobo, who is releasing quarterly releases under the new name "Fabric Presents". Bonobo infuses his 74-minute mix with a textural aesthetic that draws on his own multi-instrumental arrangements, and a musical scope that suggests a new openness and breadth of vision for the artist, without losing sight of his past. The 22 house, techno, electronica and breakbeat tracks include 10 exclusive or previously unreleased tracks, including two from Bonobo himself and one from his rare pseudonym Barakas. Each track oozes character and lets the animated melodies wander and unfold, while the entire set is characterized by a sense of harmonic development and rhythmic precision. The CD features a mix of 22 tracks, while the double LP contains 15 fully-played highlights.
