The CD Pure - An Intimate Look At Bob Dylan, released in 2011, gathers together on a carefully assembled 78-minute digipack a number of rarely heard songs, all but one of which won't be found on any of Dylan's many best-of lists, but are nonetheless among the best Dylan has recorded in the last 55 years. Now this highly acclaimed 17-song collection is being released for the first time as a double LP, with, of course, the finest equipment and workmanship (180-gram vinyl, gatefold sleeve, printed inner sleeves). A good opportunity to get acquainted with this exceptional artist thanks to an unusual compilation of songs (including a long version of "Trouble In Mind" and a rare solo version of "Spanish Is The Loving Tongue", available only on this album) - or maybe just to get to know him first!
