The latest edition of the acclaimed Bootleg Series focuses on the six studio recordings that resulted in 1975's "Blood On The Tracks". The album is one of the best-selling of Dylan's career, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2015. The recording of Blood On The Tracks was originally scheduled for four days in New York City in September 1974. However, the artist decided to rework some of the tracks, and therefore went into the recording studio again in December. He chose "Studio 80 in Minneapolis", where some of the album tracks were re-recorded. On the album "More Blood, More Tracks - The Bootleg Series Vol. 14" all the recordings from the sessions in New York and the reworked tracks from Minneapolis are now available for the first time. The latest edition of "Bootleg Series" documents the creation of the masterpiece in the following versions: the 6CD deluxe version of "More Blood, More Tracks - The Bootleg Series Vol. 14" contains all recordings including many outtakes recorded during the New York sessions as well as five original tracks from Minneapolis in remastered form. The deluxe edition also includes a hardcover photo book with detailed liner notes by journalist Jeff Slate and a reproduction of the legendary 57-page handwritten notebook in which you can witness the creation of the lyrics to "Blood On The Tracks". Alongside this, "More Blood, More Tracks" will also be released as a standalone CD and (with the same content) as a double-LP. This release contains the essence of the deluxe box set, featuring eleven of the best tracks from the New York sessions.
