"Deathhammer" was a huge success and was named "Album of the Month" in three magazines in this country (Rock Hard, Heavy, Legacy)! Now "Incoming Death", the ninth studio album, is out, offering fast, semi-crunchy short attacks and true doom monsters with somber guitar melodies. Meanwhile, there are thrashing mid-tempo slams and numbers riddled with Slayer references. Asphyx's stylistic corset is 666% old-school and all the musical liberties are of course far from wacky experiments, but that's exactly the point: pure, devastating, unadulterated death metal!
