If You Want Blood You've Got It is the sixth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC , released on 21 July 1978. It was the band's first album produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange, and is also the first album to feature Brian Johnson on vocals after the death of Bon Scott. The album If You Want Blood You've Got It was commercially successful, reaching number 4 on the UK Albums Chart and number 10 on the Billboard 200 in the United States. The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipping one million copies in the United States. If You Want Blood You've Got It was recorded at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas and Electric Lady Studios in New York City. The album was mixed at The Roundhouse in London. Lange's production style gave the album a sleeker sound than the band's previous recordings. The album's lead single, "Whole Lotta Rosie", was released on 25 June 1978 and reached number 13 in the UK singles chart. The track "Let There Be Rock" was released as the album's second single on 10 September 1978 and reached number 20 in the UK Chart.
